Ideas - a podcast episode from Creative Sauce by Andi Osho
From the Community
My key take-aways from the episode:
Ideas don’t come from us, they come through us. Ideas have a life of their own.
Re-imagination: something borrowed becomes original by being brought out through someone’s unique and authentic filter.
Always have a notebook (or some way of capturing ideas) with you.
Ideas are like children - you need to listen to what they need to grow and thrive.
If you want your work to grow, you need to share your ideas.

Savee It — a new Pinterest for Ideation on the go
From the Internet
When I first came across this app, it didn’t really seem that useful or different from Pinterest. But… the browser extension for this app allows you to directly save images directly on your board.
On your usual travels to social media feeds, Wikipedia, news sites… an image can catch your eye and give you an idea for whatever you’re working on. Savee it lets you capture that image so you can go back to it later, without disrupting the flow of what you’re doing right now.
Another way it’s different from Pinterest - you can adjust how your board is presented - spacing between images and the size of images. It’s a small thing, but makes a big difference in keeping things digestible and relevant.

On Happiness - a quote by Yung Pueblo
From the Internet
Happiness is not: getting everything you want or controlling the things around you.
Happiness is: the freedom that comes when you stop constantly craving for more and when you can embrace change without fear.

IDEAS
What idea are you working on this week?
Nice. That first idea about ideas... it reminded me of that TED talk by Elizabeth Gilbert: https://www.ted.com/talks/elizabeth_gilbert_your_elusive_creative_genius
