Serious Silliness - sculptures by Ren Wolfe
From the Community
I’ve been following Ren’s adventures on Instagram for a while now. She is as magical as she is prolific - and deeply serious about play. She creates entire worlds that I find visceral and no less real than the reality of morning coffee, picking up dog poop, and tub stations at rush hour.
One by one, each crocodile head, wonky flower and giant hand is created, and simultaneously a world of things, meanings and emotions.

On Oxymorons — some quotes from everyone
From the Internet
Like apes, we breed, sleep, and die. Yet like God we say, "I am." We are ontological oxymorons.
― Peter Kreeft
‘Rescuing myself’ is an oxymoron that will leave me in the perpetual need of being rescued ‘from myself’.
― Craig D. Lounsbrough
To me, this was an oxymoron, doing a painting of a dancer. Dancers are always moving.
