Energy Rush — a poem by Laura Muresan
From the Community
Energy Rush
I saw the light or it saw me.
Who knows?
Today the Universe grabbed the sides of my mouth
And dragged them back into a huge smile
It was out of my control
And I enjoyed every minute of it
Without an apparent reason
I remembered who I am
And gracefully I invited life
To this magical celebration.

I talked about Laura before in Newsletter #007, so check that out if you missed it. Her Instagram account is also delightful :).

The Word on the Street — re-imagined street signs by Scott Froschauer
From the Internet
By using the materials and visual language of street signs, but replacing the traditional negative wording (Stop, Do Not Enter, Wrong Way…) with positive affirmations, “The Word on the Street” seeks to provide something that is missing from our daily visual diet.

Everyday Objects — a creative prompt inspired by Sean Kernan
From your Home
Look around your home and see the objects that create it.
Be still for a moment, and see what memories show up associated with those objects.
Without attachment, watch those memories.
Begin writing the stories, hidden in your home.
For more context, see Sean Kernan’s article: “Your Life is Quietly Hidden in Beautiful, Everyday Objects.”
